When building release binaries, we don't seem to have org.apache.commons.lang.StringUtils but org.apache.commons.lang3.StringUtils (notice the 3 in lang3). And lang3.StringUtils is what other GS3 Java classes use, so making the change to get the release binary compilation to work again.
