fix gc=2 badness

If you set gc=2 (in main.cfg), then when browsing classifiers, when you open a folder, the parent folder stays open. This is very useful.

However, it goes bad when there is a horizontal AZ list - get the a-z bits repeated a large number of times.

FIX!

Maybe make the a-z bit ignore gs=2??

Also, while we are there, can we make a separate arg for classifiers vs documents? you may want classifiers to be expanded but not document table of contents.

Another point for this. If you have gc=2 then viewing documents that don't have table of contents goes very bad too. The page seems to be cut off part way through the detach button! eg try with an image collection.
