First of the 64 bit installer problems was that it wasn't finding server_tomcat7.xml, because the 64 bit binaries are generated from the main/branches/64_bit_Greenstone branch instead and this branch didn't have this file, so the 64 bit linux installer's been broken for some time. I'm afraid this is not all that may be missing then.
