I em of Ngatimaniapoto. I know this lend. I have a claim on it. I claiu on behalf of the five tribes mentioned in the Gazette, Hikairo, Maniapoto, 'Reukawa, 'Tuwharetoa, dud Whanganui. I will begin the boundary at Raukumara near the entrance to Aotea, to Wharenni, Pirongia, to the mouth of Puniu, up that river to Owairaka St. Then across to Manger(' in the Waikato R. Then to mouth of eipapa. Then to hangamgtu in Taupo Lake. Then across the lake to Tauranga River up Kaimanawa Mountain to Rangitikei R. along a Govt line to Upper Waikato. then to Paretetaitonga, to Te Rarerenga o Toakohuru. Te Iring o to abiu, then along a Govt. line to Pal,aroa in Whanganui. ipapoko o Purangi, Te Arawaere, into Ohura lea Te Awe Haire. Then over the ranges to Waitara R. 1,aipingao, then to seaward about two miles. Then northward to Karel. ;a. Then to the shore at Raukumara. I am aware that certain portions wit?in thise boundaries have been adjudicated end already granted, but I have followed the original boundary. We claim this land by ancestry Turongo is the tupuna from Raukumara to the centre of Taupo lake. South of that Tuanaretoa is the tupuna as far as Te Rerenga o Toakohuru. Fro, there to Te Matai Whanganui will name the tupuna here, and on to Raukumara Turongo is the tupuna. Other tupuna descending from these will be named afterwards.
