Version of the code where mg_s_long and mg_u_long used to more carefully control size of 'long' and 'unsigned long' in code,
so version that compiles up under Unix 64-bit systems sets these types to be the same size as for 32-bit Unix (which is
an assumption the source code makes in terms of reading and writing ISIS binary data).
