Redoing commit message. There was an nmake error building search4j when expeditee's release-kit ran. It was unable to make some directory. The directory name hadn't been initialised, but as the variable was called LIBDIR, I assume the dir to be created is meant to be: lib. Creating this directory if it doesn't exist appears to have fixed the nmake failure.
