+The cuurent pattern works well for the local library url, but doesn't support port numbers, login/pass and other advanced url features. A new pattern will have to be found/written, but this turns out to be quite a task (I've already tried several patterns I found via Google Groups and they all are worse than the current pattern ranging from only accepting urls starting www to accepting any string at all).
