Linux from CVS:

to install:

(cvs co gsdl3) (should be done already to get this file)
cd gsdl3
source gs3-setup.sh
./gs3-prepare.sh
./gs3-configure.sh (will be replaced with ./configure)
./gs3-compile.sh (will be replaced with make, make install)
./gs3-finalise.sh

installing from download
./gsdl3-x.xx-unix.sh

to run

./gs3-launch.sh

Windows from CVS:

(cvs co gsdl3)
gs3-setup
gs3-prepare


Windows from download:

double click on gsdl3-x.xx-win32.exe
To run, select Greenstone Digital Library 3 from the start menu.

Note: the windows version doesn't have greenstone 3 native building yet.
