We decided to change users/history/key etc db files to use gdb extension. Implement. shouldn't need to be backwards compatible, as these files are new for each installation. Make sure installer also is changed once the runtime code is changed. |

Do some writability tests to smartly choose a default install dir at runtime in the installer. First try for the system-wide location (c:\program file, /usr/local), then resort to the user location (%USERDIR%, $HOME). The code will probably go in the java code for the <directory> element of ant-installer, or as a backup could go in the wrapper c++ code passing the result to java as a property. |

Two places: restart library, and preview in GLI. The local library server needs updating to reload the collection. Make sure it works. I don't think restart library refreshes the collect group collections. |
