script output piped to less/more

import.pl, pluginfo.pl etc pipe their output to less or more on linux. (for text output not for xml output)

This is commented out on windows. While activestate perl claims to handle open(STDIN, "-|"), it doesn't seem to work.

can we do it a different way for windows?
