13 | This section describes how to create a new collection.
---|
14 |
---|
15 |
---|
16 | To create a new collection, open the "File" menu and choose "New". Several
---|
17 | fields need to be filled out -- but you can change their values later if you
---|
18 | need to, in the design view.
---|
19 |

---|
20 | "Collection title" is the text displayed at the top of your collection's home page. It can
---|
21 | be any length.
---|
22 |

---|
23 | "Description of content"
---|
24 | should describe, in as much detail as possible, what the collection is about.
---|
25 | Use the [Enter] key to break it into paragraphs.
---|
26 |

---|
27 | Finally you must specify whether the new collection will have the same
---|
28 | appearance and metadata sets as an existing collection, or whether to start a
---|
29 | default "New Collection".
---|
30 |

---|
31 | Click "OK" to create the collection. If you chose "New Collection" you are
---|
32 | prompted for the metadata sets to use in it. You can choose more than one, and
---|
33 | you can add others later.
---|
34 |

---|
35 | Clicking "Cancel" returns you to the main screen immediately.

36 |

37 |

38 | Buttons, like menus, have one character underlined. To "click" the button,
---|
39 | press [ALT] and the underlined character at the same time.
